You report to the Head of Software Department.

Together with a team of world-class experts, you analyze, prototype and develop innovative applications and you participate to the improvement and maintenance of our customized products.

  • You actively participate to our R&D recurrent brainstorming and developments in close relationship with academic partners.
  • You interact with the front-line teams to keep a close understanding of our customers’ needs and answer questions that are raised during pre-sales activities.
  • You might be working on projects where travel is needed (up to 15%), and are based in Brussels, Belgium.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • You have a Bachelor or a Master degree in Software Engineering/Computer Science
  • You have gained a first up to 5 years experience in development in .NET environment with C# mainly (any other language – C, C++, Java – is a plus)
  • You have first-hand experience of web development technologies (ASP.NET, TypeScript, REST API, …)
  • You have experience with Azure DevOps or web application authentication and security
  • An experience in the rail industry would be very appreciated
  • Through your experience, proactivity, autonomy, communication skills and willingness, you succeed in gaining the necessary trust from your team’s colleagues
  • Fluency in French and English is required. Knowledge of Dutch or any other European language is a plus

Founded in 2008, ERTMS Solutions is a world leader in railway testing, maintenance and systems integration tools for the ERTMS (European Railway Traffic Management System). We work with many key actors in railway signalling: Manufacturers, Rail Infrastructure Managers, and Operators.

Combining software, hardware, broader railway signalling activities, and ontology based developments, such as complex systems integration, ERTMS Solutions develops both off-the-shelf solutions, as well as custom products that are specially adapted to customer needs.
